In this video we are going to trade the currency pair USDCAD for the whole year 2019 with an algo trading system that can be downloaded on the website AlgorithmicTradingSystem.com.
The current risk setting is 20.
The entry signal is the Relative Vigor Index oscillator.
We are using an original Metaquotes Metatrader 5 demo account as you can create one with a few mouse clicks in Metatrader to compare it with your own results.
One thing that you probably have noticed is that you will see a lot of trades in these videos.
From time to time there are quiet times, but often there are several dozen open positions at the same time.
The question that comes up from time to time is if it is better to trade more positions or a bigger position size.
From what I have learned it is better to trade more, but smaller positions.
But I am risk averse and I trade long term systems.
Other people like to trade huge position sizes.
They like to say that they have doubled their account in two weeks or so.
While this is possible, there is a question that you need to answer for yourself.
If you are able to double your account size in two weeks, would you then stop to trade?
Or is it more likely that you try to do that again?
I believe that early success is what causes most account crashes, because people tend to repeat risky things as long as it works.
Once they have crashed their first real account, they usually start to look for something that will work in the long run.
You can download the free version for the Algorithmic Trading System below the video on our website AlgorithmicTradingSystem.com
It will work with original Metatrader 5 demo accounts.
