From time to time I get the questions why I don’t trade this or that thing, like Gold or Crypto currencies.
Well, I don’t have strict rules about what I do or don’t trade, but there are a few things that I consider to be important.
The first thing is liquidity.
To sell something I need somebody who is willing to buy it.
I like to trade financial instruments that have a high liquidity, because that makes it easy to buy and sell as there is always some opposite demand.
The next thing is that I have not seen any currency pairs declare insolvency.
Stocks are bound to the fortune or misfortune of the company.
And from time to time you see even big and innovative companies declare insolvency.
Another point is that I like to trade what works well.
There might be reasons why some currency pairs or other financial instruments don’t work very well, but actually I don’t spend much time to find the reason.
There are so many financial instruments out there, so it is better to go with something that produces good results.
At least that is my opinion.
